Who We Are
Dan Avila & Sons is a shipper of fresh produce located in the agricultural rich San Joaquin Valley of central
California, lies the quaint farm town of Turlock that we call home. It is here and close surrounding areas where we
cultivate our crops just as our forefathers and their families did before us, dating back to 1916. Today, we carry on
with the legacy they left behind; to produce the finest watermelons and sweet potatoes as humanly possible as we
can.
Watermelons
We grow, pack, and ship Seedless Seeded and Mini Personal watermelons as well as a yellow-flesh seedless
watermelon variety.
Sweet Potatoes
Year-round availability of sweet potatoes/yams. We grow, pack, and ship 4 different varieties of sweet
potatoes/yams to suit your need.
Packing & Shipping
We can accommodate any special need/request on packaging, sizing, or labeling. Our transportation team can
deliver our products to any of your locations.
Food Safety
Dan Avila & Sons is Food Safety Certified with a field and pack-house GLOBAL G.A.P. program that is GFSI-level.
